The Kavaleer design team worked with HMH’s early childhood education experts to create the app which is designed to be engaging and fun while helping children as young as two to develop key language, literacy, science, mathematical, social and creative skills.

We all know Curious George to be one of the most iconic children’s book characters , with over seventy million books printed worldwide. It was great for Kavaleer to be involved in bringing this brand to the Interactive forefront of the market. So if your child is as curious about animals as Curious George is then he’s there to show them how to help clean and feed the animals and lots more!

SpongeBob Squarepants Diner Dash Deluxe for the Apple  iPhone and iPad is available online in the App Store.

The Kavaleer design team had the pleasure of working with PlayFirst and Nickelodeon in designing the Diner Dash app with SpongeBob SquarePants.

It’s all about Mr. Krabs who is expanding his Krabby Patty empire, one restaurant at a time. You get to help SpongeBob seat, serve and satisfy all kinds of fishy customers in colorful Bikini Bottom restaurants. Slide and tap to send SpongeBob to customers’ tables. Take orders, seat customers, and collect big tips to upgrade your restaurants!

Timothy Björklund

Kavaleer are proud to announce that Timothy Björklund has joined our team.

In a career that has spanned over two decades, Timothy has worked for some of Hollywood’s biggest and brightest names in animation and film production. Björklund, a native of San Francisco, began drawing cartoons the day he was given his first box of crayons.

Commenting on why he decided to become a professional animator, Tim said:

‘I saw my first Betty Boop cartoon when I was 16 and thought it was the most fantastic thing my eyeballs had ever looked at. I knew I had to make cartoons after that.’

We are delighted to have Tim on board as our in house Director, and excited to work on some interesting new projects together.

The jaunty title music is composed and performed by Dublin band Pugwash and will be narrated by ‘Father Ted’ star Frank Kelly. We are currently in late development on this 26 x 5 minute show for 4-6 year olds.

First up is the Aesthetica Film Festival in York (3rd-6th November) where the film is in official competition, then Cinema Palestino in Sheffield (25th-27th November) and finally the Palestine Film Festival in Bristol (2nd-3rd December). Director Andrew Kavanagh will be attending the Sheffield and Bristol screenings to introduce the film and participate in a Q & A afterwards. Screening times are yet to be confirmed, we’ll post updates here as we get them!
